The monthly fee never ends
A builder plan looks cheap until you have paid it every month for years, and the site still is not yours.
Webador, Wix, Squarespace, GoDaddy — a DIY builder was the right call when you started. But if the template site is starting to cost you customers, we rebuild it properly, for a fixed price you know before we start, in accounts you own.
No jargon. No builder subscription. You own everything at the end.
Straight up: if your DIY site is doing its job, keep it. A builder is the right tool for plenty of businesses, and we will happily tell you so.
This page is for the folks who have hit the ceiling — and half-suspect it already.
— Josh, the bloke who builds them
Chapter one
If two or more of these are true, the builder that got you started is now holding you back.
A builder plan looks cheap until you have paid it every month for years, and the site still is not yours.
Because it is the same template, used by thousands of other businesses, with the colours changed.
The site is only ever as fast and as findable as the platform allows, and you cannot get under the hood to fix it.
Stop paying and the site disappears. Most builders will not let you export a working website, ever.
The difference
Both are legitimate ways to be online. Here is the honest difference, so you can pick with your eyes open.
The move
We read your current site and send you a short report in plain English — speed, Google visibility, what visitors see first. If the site is fine, we say so, free.
Your current site stays up the whole time. Nothing goes offline, and nothing goes live until you have approved it.
The domain points at the new site, your email is untouched, and you cancel the old builder plan only once the new site is live and checked.
Fair questions
Yes, though not by dragging it across — builders do not let a working site be exported. We rebuild it properly, better than it was, and nothing changes until you have seen and approved the new one.
No. If your domain is registered through the builder, moving it into an account in your own name is part of the job.
No. Email is separate from the website, and we check it before and after the switch.
Your reviews live on your Google Business Profile and do not move. Your web address stays the same, so your Google history comes with it, and we set up redirects for any page that changes.
Brand new business, tight budget, site doing its job — stay put, honestly. The free health check will tell you either way, and we regularly tell people not to spend money with us.
Fixed price from $2,000, agreed in writing before any work starts. After that you pay no ongoing fee to us, ever.
The next step
Tell us where your site lives and we will send you a plain-English report on how it is really doing. No obligation, and no hard feelings if you stay on the builder.
